He was a pal of Mum and Dad’s probably because they all moved into Crawley Ave at about the same time in about 1939.
During the War Dad got The Cram family out of their house as a fire bomb had gone through the house roof into the main bedroom. Dad was an ARP warden.
I was told that Mr. Crams nightshirt had got burnt.
