Allan, the cliff is called Prekestolen (pulpit rock) and is in Flekefjorden near Stavanger. It rises "2000 ft and is a big tourist attraction and you can go by the Clipper tourist boat for a few quid and there's a bar onboard! If it was to fall it would cause a major disaster in Stavanger.
