This aerial view is specially for Elizabeth who as a child lived in Arthur St before WW2 & attended the Colliery Board School. For over 20 years I've been trying to find a photo of her long gone street, without luck. So if anyone can help, that would be great. This aerial photo was taken in 1946 so young Elizabeth & her family might have been having tea when this little aircraft flew over their house taking photos..
Bede Building can be seen & that was where the late Mike Lynch & board regular was born. He was probably at home age 3 when this photo was taken.
