I remember it well. Their daughter Maureen Taylor went to St Aloysius and then St Anthony’s Grammar school in Sunderland. A few years ago we had a post about no one remembering the Fish and Chip shop. I remember it very well and attended one of Maureen’s birthday parties. The house front was in Wickham Road and the shop was in Carter Avenue. I remember the door from the living room went directly into the shop. Happy memories.
