The photo shows the back of our old house at 51 Argyle St. Andy Rowland's shop is diagonally opposite on the corner of Blindburn Street with what looks like a vehicle parked alongside. In answer to the question of why the houses were demolished, some did suffer badly from damp and cockroaches!
