Could the matches be trials for higher levels? That would explain her moving teams. The “scouts” are looking at individuals & the team/ result doesn’t really matter.
My grand-daughter has recently been selected as goalie for the Birmingham City Academy after attending a session similar to how you describe your session. She was moved between 3 teams during the day, obviously so the officials could see how she performed.
