Eastbourne, Loughborough, Leeds, Beverly plus two other places.

Her parents take her from home to Headingley Ground for team coach and then they go head to wherever and then it’s the reverse.

A lot of miles being clocked up by them.

But it’s got to be done for her to get anywhere in the sport hopefully.

She is good. I understand one of the top two for her age for Northern Diamonds Academy U19’s and she is 16 1/2.

As soon as she could hold a cricket bat her Dad started her training. He was a good player when young.

She has dropped both Netball and hockey, don’t know if she will get back into them as she has left school and starts at Headingley Collage attached to the ground.

Today she and her Dad are playing in a match north of Ripon a charity thing I think as they have done for a few years.

There must be loads o.f youngsters that loose out as their parents cannot ferry them about if they are at County level. Sham really.
