Looking at the fields from the brickworks towards the top of Mill Lane. From the brickwork smoke around to what we called “Gallons Farm “ at C there is a distinct curve which is presumably a stream/ streams that eventually fed down to the lakes. Lakes filled by water seepage from the brickworks area? There doesn’t seem to be a distinct watercourse to feed the lakes. I remember that we used to walk up a hill to a tree line to get to the quarry from Mill Lane in early 50’s. Allan C.
