Every place I've ever worked closed down.
Wardley Colliery closed
RWTransmissions in Hebburn closed down
Whitburn area NCB Workshops closed
Ever Ready Batteries at Stanley closed down
British Diecasting North Shields closed down
Royal Ordnance Factory Birtley closed down.
Then I started my own Corgi reg business, ran it for 20 yrs and then retired.
My dad worked all his working life as a Horizontal Borer in Reyrolles & then they closed.
NONE of these closures are because the Dunn's worked there
