My sister and I will be visiting Hebburn to see the church where our great grandfather was minister at the turn of the 20th C. I believe there are still some second cousins there from Alexander's second marriage to Alice Bean. I've been tracing the deep Lobban ancestry (all one genetic group from NE Scotland) and will be talking about the Lobban DNA Project to the Aberdeen & NE Scotland FHS at 2 pm, Saturday 21 September.
