One thing that’s struck me is the amount of bad driving.

On a few country roads not far from us young ladies driving too fast and going around blind bends without slowing down. A few near misses, thank goodness I was being careful.

Plenty other drivers to moan about but these days I just expect bad drivers and up to nutter level.

Today I called in at the Aldi store near the roundabout on the A59, A61 junction. On coming out to turn onto the A59 watching to the left for traffic was a bit astounded to see a big artic tanker lorry come off the roundabout onto the A59 westbound at a rate of knots probably near or over 40 mph in a 30 zone.

Thank goodness I was at the front of the queue and spotted his speed. The exit from the 3 stores onto the A59 is dodgy.

The A59 exit from the roundabout westbound is dodgy as the road falls away and you can pick up speed almost without noticing it.

Plenty of up your backside types, brake lights and headlights out, I could go on.

Taking particular care as car insurance due on 5/6 Sept. And just renewed for next year and it’s only costing me an extra £45. With LV.

The cost is £426 and on the cost comparison sites quoted £540 plus and in some cases Plus plus.
