Basically you can walk your way up any street or road sitting in your armchair.

I often used it to look at the old family houses in Hebburn that are still standing.

However more importantly I use it to check out how to get to places.

A for instance. There is a roundabout in Orleans, France that is a dodgy to get round to the road that I want. I go on Street view and visually drive the route I require to go. It makes it so easy.

Used it since I could access it and it saves a lot of hassle when driving if you “ know” the road.

It’s a very valuable tool. It helps even if using a Sat Nav.

I’ve checked out the access to campsites, parking areas and just roads that I think may be a problem when towing.

In the last few weeks we’ve had to go to various places in Leeds so used it to plan the route and check out exactly where we should go. Of course you have to memorise what you see. That tight corner just before the entrance to the car park at one of the Leeds Hospitals.
