Tom, I can’t remember Mr Jenkins living in St Rollox Street. He usually came down the side of the Newtown Club and I often saw him either walking up North Farm Road or Tharsis Road, I don’t know where he lived but seem to think it was just over Victoria Road West. Perhaps I saw him some time or someone might have told me. I just remember him as an old style gentleman, always lifted his hat to say good morning or good afternoon. He certainly had a long walk from school home.
