I almost cannot believe the fall of Ocean Road from Lawe Road.

I’ve looked on Google Street view and it’s very difficult to actual see the fall but it’s there you have to look it the roof lines.

However there have been a lot of changes to the buildings over the years.

Looking at the Marine Pub on the corner of Ocean Road and Lawe road. The broad black strip at footpath level appears to be not as high at the Lawe Road side than the other.

One of these days I will get up to Shields and just walk it to see.

This latest photo from Norman it looks as if there big fall away from Lawe Road of Ocean Road towards Kings Road.
