Absolutely right Brian we all worked and had to pay for our own meals that kind of thing, to be honest I do think that the Government should have a dedicated residential building whereby MPs are given accommodation, it would be much cheaper than the expenses they are allowed to claim for, if cuts have to be made they should start with cutting their own benefits.
