I seem to recall many years ago that Admiralty House was mooted as a place for MPs to live, I think this was in the days of John Prescott, I also seem to think that he did live there, but old age and memory could have gotten the better of me?

I know that MPs, who don’t represent London or just outside, do need accommodation but if they can’t go into Government owned blocks to live then a set amount be paid no extras, they, like the rest of us, must live within their means why should we have to fund them.
