Here's a photo of Geordie Armstrong who was mentioned further down the board. He went on to become an Arsenal Legend. He is only 11 yrs old on the photo & played football for St Aloysius.
I was in the same class as him right through school from 1949 to 1959 so knew him well. Sadly he died when still young in his mid 50s in 2000 on the Training Ground as Reserve Team Coach at Arsenal .RIP Geordie.
