I always pull over if required but that’s very rare that its me causing the tailback, usually tractors, or slow coaches!
More often than not it’s others that I am stuck behind.
I’ve been towing for nearly 50 years and until 2020 towing about 5,000 to 6,000 miles per year since 2004.
The post card is another of those dumb ones that often come out.
It would be very very rare to see either of those two scenarios unless there is a reason like high hedges, a very narrow road that has been gone on in error (Sat. Nav problems)
More often than not it’s the solo drivers at fault as they have not or very little ability to cope with traffic.
The vast majority of drivers just do not know how to overtake slower moving vehicles, they get close up behind to a car and caravan or a Motorhome and they restrict their vision ahead.
The problem is inability to READ the road.
Those postcard past their sell by date.
