Were you awake when the stents were fitted ??

I have had 6 stents placed in various areas of my heart over a period of around 20 years and watched on the big overhead monitor and chatted with the surgeon about what he was doing inside me as each was inserted.

These procedures were carried out at Liverpool hospital in Sydney, This Hospital is a Teaching Hospital attached to The University of New South Wales, and I was attended by Professors of the highest standards.

Stents are wonderful inventions, the only drawback is one of them (the first, from 20 years ago) is ""Non Elluting"" which means I need SEVERAL blood thinners each day, amongst the multitude of other medications for my various aches and pains.

Take it easy for the next couple of months until your strength returns.
