They went up my right arm.
How would I describe it.
It seems daft but it was like being in the film The Flight of The Navigator with the X Ray or scanner sort of dancing around up above you.
The machine being all white not chrome.
To me it felt as if spiders were walking around on my upper left chest.
To me there seemed to be over 6 staff monitoring and working on me.
What ever they pump into you I felt that I could dance out of the hospital.
At the time the young doctors were on strike and I saw them by looking out of the waiting room window.
I went in for the Opn.at 11 and when I came out at about 1 pm they were gone for lunch (Pub ?)
That sticks in my mind.
Keeping you awake during the fitting of Stents may be because of being able to monitor you better but probably it’s just a local anaesthestic. Certainly I got on and off the Operating table myself.
Vastly different to my hip replacement in 2007.
