Itwould be a lot cheaper to keep them in hotels, but Newcastle Uni are flattening student accommodation as it's out of date, why couldn't that have been used. Other Uni's could have similar accommodation, what's wrong with hostel accommodation but what we have are hotel chains who aren't particularly good and can't fill them are suddenly getting guaranteed money for minimum service, they must have been clapping their hands when the government approached them.
