Does anyone know where Green Street is in South Shields? (postcard from 1/11/2024 posting)
I have tried to find it on a modern street map, but unable to find any Green Street.
I have an Old Ordinance Survey Map dated 1895 and I searched all over with my big magnifying glass, but still couldn't find it.
I did find the best street name I have ever come across though--- PENNY PIE STAIRS.
