We chop down trees in Canada (We need trees, and critisize the likes of Brazil for cutting down the rain forest)

Then ship it 3,000+ miles in a ship that burns oil...

Bit like the "green electric car" metals for the magnets ripped out of the earth in China (go figure) shipped around the earth as components, finally assembled in whatever country.

It's reckoned that an EV will take 40 years before becoming "carbon neutral"....

Do you see many 40 year old cars around? So it will be scrapped LONG before it's paid back it's cost to the planet.
