John and Norman, I agree, the wrong people are given the jobs. The Hospice in Oxford , Sobel House, was first in a part of the Churchill Hospital. It is still in the Hospital Grounds, but a beautiful separate 20 bed building was built in 2003. I visited our late neighbour there. I was amazed at the young doctors who had chosen to specialise in end of life care, which makes me wonder about the race for assisted dying. Please don't start a discussion about a difficult topic. I was just saying how young doctors care for hospice patients.
