The family have two wood burners and use wood that we cut from deadfall and the like.

We live out in the sticks so not a problem with neighbours.

However if you live in a town you may have a problem. In some places woood burners not allowed I understand and there was going to be legislation on them.

In the past some people were putting all sorts of rubbish in their burners. One guy was putting off its from the timber company that he worked for and it was nasty stuff exotic woods. The council had to step in .

That case was about 15 years ago and our friends who were near the chap moved and probably both now deceased.

I have no idea on the market for wood burners but with them both success.
