Norman, thank you for the photo's. What a unique looking chimney, looks like it was built as part of the housing. Perhaps, though doubtful, a single monument depicting all the ship yards with a plaque for each yard., Located on the river bank. Surely it is not to late for some semblance of the history of the north east shipping industry.
