Great photo Norman, Gateshead High Street looked the same for many years then it went into decline, when I was up in the North East last week we drove down a street, can’t remember the name but crossed then over the High Street towards the by-pass, when aproaching the roundabout, prior to joining the by-pass, there are shops either side of the road the6 really should be demolished they look awful, pity Gateshead High Street can’t regain some of its glory.
