I visited the Metro Centre a few weeks ago OR tried to.

I wanted the Evans Cycle shop which was just to the West of the Main building but I thought that it was moving into the Metro Centre itself as when in the Metro Centre some time back they seemed to be moving to one end on the upper floor.

The move looks like it never came off, so visited the old shop which was a waste of time.

I wanted a pair of cycling shoes but almost no selection and what I may have bought none in my size.

The shop had plenty bike for sale but little else.

I then looked on line and I probably will have to go into Leeds and if that no good go over Manchester way.

When I was in the Evan shop I asked how to get over to Byker ( there is a Good cycle shop there) but they couldn’t give me a route to follow avoiding the emissions zone.

So didn’t bother just bought a pair of flat peddles and used my old trainers.

I hear from friends that the Metro Centre is in their words going down the Nick!

However that seems to be all shopping areas including Harrogate.

Next week we will go to York as not been for a while !
