In 2005, JCS held a reunion of former pupils which included a lady by the name of Genia Futers. She told me she had completed her education at the school before I had been born. As my birthyear is 1937 Genia must have been born around 1922-1923 She gave an account of evacuation from Jarrow to Conset for the duration off WW2. It is a tenuous link, but there you are Mac C.
