If I am reading it correctly the old Leslie’s dock remains part of A&P as does the big sheds.

If so Gawd help the new residents on the buildings to be built on Leslie’s old yard.

They may get a bit sick of chipping hammers working on vessels in the Old dock.

They will then be applying pressure on the A& P yard to close I expect.

The company that I came down to work for in Harrogate had to move because of similar circumstances as they could not work night shifts to push various projects.

The works became over the years following WW11 surrounded by housing.

I wonder if prospective buyers of the housing are being made aware of the probable noise at all hours that will come from the A&P site?
