While I wish them well I sometimes wonder if they have thought things through.
To do something like that takes money and a LOT of working hours. If you don’t spend the money you are DIY in extreme.
In most case these villages are up to 200-300 years old and some people are learning on the job.
To night there is a chap who is heading for a heart attack as grossly overweight , well over 25 stone.( and more)
The risks involved are very high depending on location like earthquakes.
OK buying a village can be cheap or cheap ish but the work can take years.
The program is all successful renovations very rarely failures but people just have to work through the bad times.
I wonder if some of them consider the Heath risks and costs of moving abroad as some not in the best of health. Hearts rule the head.
