My Grandparents and father were staying at Leadgate, Allendale Town, Near Hexham.
G/F was out of work, probably laid off and took a holiday with G/M and Dad.
I know that he was a good worker and would store up jobs in the "Back of his Book" so that he could travel. was it Piece Work ?
He and family stayed with a dressmaker and her sister a B&B type thing.
As yet I cannot find "Leadgate" in Allendale Town. it may be part of the "Hexham Road" out of Allendale Town. Leadgate could be a part of Allendale Town or was it a house name.
More digging to be done.
Looking at other members of the wider family quite a few were out of work ( Laid Off but still on the Company books) at the time of the 1921 Census. Theis was a depression 19200 to about July 1921 so that Fits.
