The 1921 Census may have given a great a plausible clue.
G/M Campbell ( nee Morris) worked in the CWS in Pelaw and lived in St. Rollox St. and she was tall. Near 6 foot.
G/ F Campbell was 6’6” lived in Hood/ Ellison St. and was a plate marker in Leslie’s Shipyard.
Until the 1921 Census came online I had wondered how they met etc.
On the Census I find that G/M younger brother was also a plate marker in Leslie’s so would have worked near G/F. They could of been friends and that’s how G/F met G/ M.
I know that G/Pts courted for 5 years until she was 21 and them married. G/F Campbell was given by his workmate a copper homemade medal for long service, the 5 years courting. I have that medal.
It’s a rerun of how G/M parents met. In their case G G/F Morris was in the same lodgings as G G/M’s Brother.
Well it could FIt, being a bit romantic maybe. Maybe a touch of adding 2+2 and making 6
