I tried Ancestry, Familysearch, the South Tyneside records and the 1939 records and found nothing but located one on the 1939 records and 1921 Census.
I then switched to my iPad and within seconds it had on the FreeBMD found all three.
So I will now go back to the above websites and retry to find where I went wrong.
Sometime you get there straight away but other time it can take hours, days, weeks or more.
Longest to find the last info on a person was Ann’s grandmother took 14 years. That found only by an off the cuff comment by one of Ann’s sisters three weeks before she died.
However I have been trying to find My G G/Fathers two sisters after 1971 Census for over 30 years. One day I might find one or both but I doubt it.
We it does keep the old brain box working. Allan C.
