Thanks for the info Alison. I should have checked to see if Lawson's were there at the time. I found these 5 Farmers in Monkton in the 1890s. Dixon Joseph, farmer Stoker Joseph, farmer Watson George, farmer Brown Robert, farmer, Grange farm, Woodgett Henry, farmer I think there was also a farmer called Handyside aswell.
