Thanks for the various replies. I wasn't thinking of collecting any it is just that I spotted the Maling "castle" logo on the wall of a certain carvery recently, along with other British pottery names and logos. I'd never heard of them before but of course as usual the combined knowledge bank on this group comes up with the answers!
