I would pay say £4,000 or slightly more if there would be any great benefit but that seems to be unlikely. I have had three sets so far from Specsavers and Boots but took them back after a month as not much better than NHS ones. If I understand it correctly he was on of the opinion that having a microphone for your hearing aids gave a huge improvement over hearing aids alone. The biggest sound killer for me is acoustics and background noise. At a pub on Saturday background noise far too loud even after switching to that setting. Allan C. |
