Thanks John. At 86 a double fracture is the worst. The pain trying to even stand is horrendous and it took me 2 weeks to get her on morphine so she could stand. She was on it after the op in a different hospital but her notes never mentioned it to transfer her so she didn't get it until some bright spark realised morphine then try walking...
