By coincidence Peter, on my reply 2 days ago to Bill Wallace about the old aerial photo of Hebburn I mentioned to Bill that my Scottish relative Joe McDougal & family lived in Edmund St 1901. Joe was a gaffer for a well known Company called McAlpines creating the new Dry Dock in Hebburn and that is the Dock.
