A bit about the Princess St bombing

In July 1940 the same Dornier Bomber that bombed Spillers tried to bomb the Shell-Mex Fuel tanks you can see on this photo, missed & hit Princess St & Dunn St School, killing 14 people & injuring 120 others. Princess st was adjacent to the School & can be seen on the photo.
The bomber then headed for the Sea but shot down by Guns outside the North Marine Park- Beach area.
