Well said Sheila, if you have paid your taxes all of your working life you can forget getting any assistance from the Government in the event that it is needed.

We are told that the State Pension is a Benefit - how, we have paid into the system for years to receive a State Pension? The way the current Government are talking they seem to want to means test everything, including our Pension, we have already had our winter fuel allowance removed so don’t be surprised if some of our State Pension is removed, but hey don’t worry if you are an asylum seeker you will continue to live in the style that you have now grown accustomed to without any worries - I give up.
