They do not have SIM cards for mobile networks.
If I replace mine I hand down the old to Ann.
Yes Expensive but I can do almost anything everything on it.
Family History stuff and downloading e mails etc and printing off stuff I go to my laptop.
We both have iPhones bought second hand or given by family as they upgrade but as need small size so use iPhone SE.
However until last weekend I had difficulty in texting etc on the SE.
Lack of practice and my fingers think a bit wide, but on Sunday away without i Pad got more used to texting.
I bought a Samsung tablet 12 months ago to replace Ann broken one. Neither of us vacant get away with using it. Keep trying but difficult.
The iPad so easy to use. Of course that could just be us..
I also use the iPad to read books downloaded from the local or county library that is a great benefit as I can read books like it going out of fashion. Of course then I don’t have to carry say 5 or six books when away in the Caravan assuming that the site we are on has WiFi.
When we used to go to the South of France I would take about 10 books and some of the sites had swap libraries so could get books for a 9 week holiday.
I hasten to add my granddaughter it IT consultant as well as her mother.
