Malcolm, I had to replace my microwave/oven Panasonic and fridge Bosch, after about 13 years. I decided to replace with the same makers, Panasonic and Bosch , as they served me well. When I later checked the production, both were made in China. The light fused on the microwave after 6 weeks. When I complained to the shop assistant at JL, I told him I wouldn’t buy anything else from China, his reply was “ well good luck with that”.
