Grandad said he saw a ghost
Well - that’s what we were told
Perhaps he looked in a mirror
After all, he is quite old
When he told the family
We felt a chill and shivered
The cat's tail bolted vertical
And every whisker quivered
If he says he saw a ghost
That’s good enough for me
I think that l’ll go missing
When invited round for tea
My Grandad is quite a card
Always playing tricks
But I’ve noticed lately
He sports a Crucifix !
