I had a burst appendix in there 1960. Mr Islam was the house surgeon and Elliot Dayan was the resident surgeon who later moved to the general andthe nurses then were Mary Marshall, Anne Crammond and Jane Dodds.The porter was Harry. A 6 week job then! The ward was the John Harvey ward. Who was he?...
