About 10 yrs ago I found out chemo patients were paying to park for treatment in Hartlepool and Middlesbrough so I tackled Alan Foster, NHS top man at Hartlepool and Middlesbrough hospitals asking why they had to pay when some were terminal. In the end I lost my temper and he wouldn't see me or answer his phone. After months he gave up and granted 12 spaces. It was worth it! I admire people who buy a plot near the hospital and charge a fraction of these money grabbers!
