As a young lad in the mid 1950s our playground was the Slagheap. I remember on the top of the heap close to Windermere Cres side was a black painted steel cylinderical building with one door & a similar size to that one on Peter's photo with slots for viewing through. I've always wondered what it was for, and after seeing Peter's pic I think it must have been for the same purpose.
