Hello Fiona please accept my sincere condolences for the sudden loss of your dear brother John l have just got back from holiday l was very upset when l learned of his death .his family like mine lived in the old Quay he in Cuthbert st our family around the corner in Tyne likewise Lilian Beattie who I'm sure will be upset.being a regular board member we used to have a lot in common about life in the Quay in those post war days John was a bit younger than myself Fiona,l knew ALec his older brother like myself played football for Hebburn Prince Consort late 1950s.I feel sure John will be sadly missed by every one on Norman's board.RIP JS
