That poor lad died at Fairfield Industrial Estate (which looks a bit of a dump with unused buildings overdue for demolition). Thats what probably attracted those kids.
It is where Marconi's once was & close to the river.
The boy attended 'The Lakes School' and then 'Hebburn Comp' & my grandson remembered him in a year older class.
Already the good people in our area have donated over £25,000 to help his mother with funeral costs etc.
