Hi Andrew,
I looked it up & there was 23 Catherine Cookson films made. Amazing!
They still show some on a TV Drama channel & they are popular & well made.
I dont know why 'Cookson Country' was dropped by this Council, because it must have brought tourists here to see where Catherine was born & bred.
